Ttobongee Chicken is a delightful culinary experience... as long as you come armed with patience and a sense of humor. The food itself? Fantastic! The LA short ribs were a hit with my entire party, and their tofu soup deserves an honorable mention--it's hot, comforting, and worth recommending. Now, if fried chicken is what you're craving, heed this advice: *Order it first.* Seriously, put it in before you decide whether to sit down, because that crispy delight takes its sweet time. While the plain fried chicken could use a bit more seasoning, it's redeemed by being exceptionally juicy and crunchy--definitely a repeat order. The banchan situation is generous (yes, free refills!), and the space is large enough that you're likely to get seated without much trouble. But that's where the easygoing vibes end. The staff? Well, they're a story of their own. There's one very sweet, older lady who takes orders--an unsung hero in this minimalist operation. Then there's the lone server, another older lady whose expression says, "I've seen it all, and I'm not impressed." She's the embodiment of efficiency wrapped in a layer of grumpiness that somehow adds character to the place. Now, here's the catch: If this restaurant ever gets even halfway busy, it might transform into the dining version of a survival game. The under-the-hood scarcity of staff would likely turn every meal into an epic saga of wait times and frayed nerves. So, would I come back? Absolutely. But only under strict conditions: I'll check the parking lot first, listen for the sound of laughter versus chaos inside, and maybe even call ahead. Because Ttobongee Chicken, while delicious, is best enjoyed when the restaurant is in its natural state: calm, composed, and not in danger of imploding.

We loved everything we ordered. Service was fast and friendly. Ambience is casual. Family night here is easy.

I decided to take my cousins out for some Korean chicken and beer; this place did not disappoint. The server was so sweet and very attentive. She took very good care of us. We ordered some beer, Sodduck, Japchae, and the half original and half yang nyum chicken. I fell in love with the Sodduck. It was so good that I ordered two more, lol. On to the chicken, both flavors were amazing. My cousins love spicy food so the yang nyum was perfect for them. The other half of this restaurant is Korean bbq. There is also this mirror where my cousins and I took a cute pic together. Even our server took a picture of us. This was an amazing meal, and I am glad I finally tried out their chicken. It's been part of them since Covid and it's just now that I tried them and it did not disappoint.

Delicious chicken! No complaints, we got some takeout while running errands the other day. This chicken is crispy, not over-seasoned, super fresh and hot and the meat is decent quality. We absolutely will be back!

My family and I had a wonderful Sunday lunch here. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. Food is delicious with plenty of parking. We will be back! Below is what we ordered. First time at this location and it was nice. We arrived on a less busy day and just a few guests inside. The staff attended to us quickly. Our food arrived piping hot and we started to dig away. The food was delicious and our portions were hearty. The banchan was wonderful and was a great spread. The chicken is the showstopper here. I liked that the sauce was less sticky than other shops. It looks to be family owned and operated so supporting this small business was great. I am not in this area often enough but would certainly consider going back if I am!

The workers here are so friendly! We came mid-day, a late lunch, and ordered a half order of yang nyum chicken (sweet Korean chili sauce) and sooduk sodduk (rice cake with sausage). Both were delicious and it came with banchan too. I'm not sure if it usually comes with banchans but the ladies were kind enough to drop some off for us! The chicken took a little longer to come out since they freshly fried it but we just snacked on the banchan as we waited. The restaurant is pretty big so it could fit big groups of people if you wanted. Not my favorite Korean chicken wing place but for the service and quality, it's still pretty good and I'd recommend checking this place out!

That korean fried chicken, and go spicy! We went jalapeno! Parking is a little tight, but you can bring big groups to get a large space to grill or just eat! The ladies are very nice korean aunties who take care of you and your kanban needs! And you get refills!

Came here with some friends right before their happy hour ended but Gina was so nice and decided to honor it for us anyhow! She also brought us soooo many bonchons (note you do have to order an entree for bonchons) We ordered a lot of food which did take some time to trickle out but we understand as Gina seems to be the only server that night. Korean pancake - 4.5/5 I loved this one cause it was thick and very crispy. My friend did say she prefers the pancake at Sisters House tho because it's thinner there Tofu soup - 3.5/5 it was a lil underwhelming and not salty enough and I feel it was missing a little depth of flavor. My friend and I both prefer the tofu soup at Sisters House BBQ Pork Sizzling Platter - wasn't very well charred. I don't usually get sizzling platters but the ones at Sisters House is better The fried chicken - 4.5/5 very good! I liked the crispiness of the chicken and inside was juicy. You do have to pay extra $2 for flavoring or for it to be crispy so keep that in mind. We did dip this into our tteokbokki/sausage sauce which Gina recommended Tteokbokki/sausage skewers - 3/5 I thought it was just okay for the price of what it was lol. I don't love the sausage but the tteokbokki did have a nice lil crisp to it on the outside but with that familiar chew once you get to the center
